Event Details

Until May 8, The Driehaus Museum is hosting an exhibition of costumes used in the wildly popular PBS/BBC series Downtown Abbey.  Art historian Jeff Mishur will discuss costumes on exhibit that are original to the period as well as garments that were newly created to imitate vintage dress.  Most importantly, Mishur will place each costume into a historic context and relate each to the narrative of the series.
