Throughout 2016, Chicago's Field Museum is hosting an exhibit of ancient terracotta figures from the tomb of China's first emperor.  In this slide lecture, art historian Jeff Mishur discusses the process used to create these figures.  He also discusses other objects in this exhibition of ancient artifacts and their relationship to China's imperial past.
