2018 marks the centennial of the death of Austrian artist Gustav Klimt.  Dr. Michelle Mishur returns to discuss important examples of Klimt’s work including The Kiss and The Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer (“The Woman in Gold”).  Dr. Mishur will also place Klimt within the art historical context of late nineteenth century French painting, including the Impressionist, Post-Impressionist and Symbolist movements
