Chicago has many house museums that deserve to
be better known. Winnetka-based architectural historian Laurie Petersen returns to discuss the owners, architects, and neighborhoods of the Robie House in Hyde
Park, by Frank Lloyd Wright; Charnley-Persky House in the Gold Coast, by
Wright and Louis Sullivan; the Glasner Studio in Old Town by Edgar Miller; and
the Glessner House in the Prairie Avenue District, by Henry Hobson Richardson. Ms.
Petersen is a co-editor of the AIA Guide
to Chicago.
