Please join Susan Benjamin for a Zoom discussion of Luce.  A thoughtful drama that is very much a film for our times, Luce is a high school student from Eritrea, adopted from the war-torn country a decade earlier.  The popular and accomplished student alarms his parents and history teacher when he chooses as a subject of a writing assignment a political revolutionary who advocated violence against colonial powers.  You'll need to watch the film beforehand. Contact Danny Burdett for viewing options, if necessary:  dburdet@glencoelibrary.org.

THIS VIRTUAL PROGRAM WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE ZOOM VIDEOCONFERENCE PLATFORM.  24 HOURS PRIOR TO THE PROGRAM YOU WILL RECEIVE AN E-MAIL MESSAGE WITH A LINK TO THE PROGRAM AND INSTRUCTIONS.  IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE THE MESSAGE PRIOR TO THE PROGRAM, CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER BEFORE CONTACTING THE LIBRARY.  If you'd like to receive weekly updates on library programs and services, please sign up for the GPL e-newsletter:
