WILD ROSE

Fresh out of a year in prison, Rose-Lynn Harlan is eager to rekindle her dreams of country music stardom...even if she is stuck in Glasgow, Scotland.  A film with as much feeling for country music and its main character, Wild Rose is a deeply satisfying story of redemption.  It's also a vehicle for Jessie Buckley, inhabiting Rose in all her contradictions and singing those great American songs like the star she aspires to be.
