How can your garden be an winter oasis for living things? Heather Prince, horticulturist and owner of Fearless Gardening, will discuss how to craft a dynamic landscape that not only offers layers of soil-enriching texture in fall and winter, but also welcomes overwintering butterflies, moths, birds, and more. She’ll highlight plants with interesting bark, stems, berries, and leaves that thrive in the Chicago area and review the myriad beneficial creatures that thrive when plant material is left in place.
