Recent in-depth surveys show a disturbing lack of public awareness about the nature and scope of contemporary antisemitism. Learn about the trends in U.S. antisemitism and the efforts to combat them with an analysis presented by Sarah van Loon, the Chicago regional director of the American Jewish Committee. Her presentation will be followed by a conversation with Jason Marck, senior producer of WBEZ's Curious City (a weekly podcast, radio, and digital feature that answers questions from listeners about Chicago area history and culture) and host of WBEZ's eclectic music program Radio Z . Presented in partnership with the Cook Memorial, Deerfield, Ela Area, Evanston, Highland Park, Indian Trails District, Lincolnwood, Skokie, Vernon Area, Wilmette, and Winnetka-Northfield District public libraries.
